The 5 Best Natural Blood Pressure Supplements – What Are They?

“For the longest time I’ve even called it the $1 pill for everything.” This is how Dr. Al Sears refers to Curcumin Triple Burn.

Both high blood pressure and eye pressure can be decreased with diet and exercise. Massage and meditation help also, if there is a high stress level in your life.

If your doctor recommends pharmaceuticals, do your research, investigate the long term effects and decide what’s best for you.

Be aware that there are blood thinning foods, and if you ingest them you may not need, or may even be harmed by, blood thinning drugs. If you understand your true medical status you can make the right decisions.

Ginger Rescue

“early studies show that ginger supports healthy, flexible blood vessels. This increases blood flow, which may help support normal blood sugar.” – Dr. Al Sears

I owe it to my dad for my love of ginger. He used to make us ginger beer every winter and we’d help cap the bottles and wait for it to age with anticipation. It was made with real herbs and spices and only the gourmet versions today resemble what what we had.

I also love to nibble on crystallized ginger slices. I wash off the excess sugar and enjoy the peppery taste.

Did you know that peppery taste causes endorphins to flow?

This is because your brain anticipates a burn, and ensuing pain. It releases endorphins to help you cope with the pain. Cayenne and other peppers will create this effect, as well as ginger.

In Ginger Rescue you’ll taste a touch of honey, moderating the peppery tingle.

Delicious ginger!

“You probably know your body is under constant attack by free radicals. But did you know that ginger contains 12 antioxidant compounds more potent than vitamin E?

That makes ginger the perfect first line of defense against cellular damage. Damage that can leave you looking and feeling older than your years.”

Omega Rejuvenol

Too much cannot be said about this product.

It is also a star player in supplement mixes.

Aside from the safe and pure Krill Oil in the formula, Vitamin E in its best form is included.

I also recall, about my dad, that after his first mini-stroke his medical doctor told him to start taking Vitamin E every day, which he did faithfully.

He had many consequent small strokes, yet lived another fifteen years, still driving and doing all his daily activities until his last three years.

Vitamin K2 is in this mix. This is a vital ingredient, because Vitamin K in the correct form removes calcium from your arteries, to be placed back into your bone matrix.

Here is an interesting video to explain how this works.

Vitamin D3 and A are included. This is a fat soluable formula, and all these products are digested easily together.

This power packed mix supports

  • Vision
  • Skin
  • Joints
  • Heart
  • Lungs
  • Mental Acuity
  • Blood pressure and blood vessels

These power packed anti-inflammatories would be well chosen by even young adults.

After growing up on fast foods and processed foods (and I’m not blaming busy working mothers for this), a healthy diet will actually heal and reline arteries, over a couple of years.

I personally know an individual who avoided a triple bypass by following a protocol to heal his arteries. With the right supervision and supplements, he achieved his goal.

That may not be for everyone, but do understand the choices here.

Cupuaçu – what is that funny word? (coo poo a soo).

“Alone amongst every plant known, Cupuacu fruit has phytonutrient polyphenols (theograndins). These have a myriad of nutritional benefits, which will be discussed more thoroughly below.

Cupuacu is also heavy with vitamins B1, B2, B3 (Niacin), fatty and amino acids, and at least nine antioxidants (including Vitamins A and C). Being from the cocoa family, Cupuacu also has a high flavanoid content.

There are many other ingredients in the nutritional content of these rainforest fruits as well, including calcium, selenium, and others.”

Here is an image of the ingredients. You can see how power packed this delicious drink is! Note that is contains Folate, and not the harmful folic acid that gets sprayed onto so many of our “enriched” foods.chocolate milkshake

  1. Hey thee Dianne,
Great article. It is so great when we choose to go the natural way when it comes to taking care of our health. The one I found interesting is the funny word – Cupuaçu – it seems to be ‘super-packed- with goodness. I am going to check it out.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Michelle

    • Hi Michelle! Cupuacu is a fruit I had never heard of before viewing this product. Nature is amazing! New discoveries roll in everyday!

  2. Definitely learn something new here. I am more familiar with turmeric/curcumin but not cupuacu fruit. This is interesting and I am going to look further into this fruit. Stamina is what I lack these days. Keeping the body healthy at all times is utmost important.
    Thanks for the sharing.
    Sharon

    • Hi Sharon! Yes the cupuacu fruit is a newcomer to the supplements market. And I have to say, we bloggers need all the stamina we can get to keep up the research, writing, and our off line lives! Thanks for your input today!

  3. Hi Dianne, What great information. I take curcurmerin every AM and love how I feel with it…no aches or pains in these older muscles! I never heard of Cupuacu before.
Personally, high blood pressure is not a problem ( I tend toward the low side), but I have friends who do have that challenge, and I hate for them to be taking the medications prescribed with their side effects on libido and such. I am going to point them to this post! Thank you for putting all this knowledge in such easily accessible form.
    Annie

    • Hi Annie. I’m glad to hear you get the benefits of curcumin as they are purported to be! And thank you for passing this info along – I know some individuals who were able to get off blood pressure medications, with their doctor’s supervision. They were very happy about that! Thanks for visiting my post today!

  4. Great and useful information. This article brings up a couple of things that i had not realized. Ginger for one, was something that I was not aware of nor of its benefits for a better quality of life. As well as some of these other methods for lowering blood pressure. Thank you for this wonderful post and look forward to reading more.

    Thank you.

    • Hi Xavier…I’m glad you gleaned something useful from my article. Ginger is indeed a very anti-inflammatory food. It’s inexpensive, fabulous to cook meals from dinner to sweets with, and is a good additive to a homemade tonic for colds and coughs. Kind of a super food! Thanks for your input today.

  5. Hi Dianne, great post here! Years ago I was having problems with high blood pressure. The doctors put me on blood pressure meds. All they succeeded in doing was making me dizzy!

I did not get my blood pressure under control until I started eating right and taking some of the supplements you described here. Foods that contain any amount of ginger, cayenne and other peppers and Omegas are great. Everything you talked about in your post is great for low blood pressure and a way to make you feel better all over! Great Info THX

    • Hi Wayne. Thanks so much for leaving your success story here! I have a few friends who did not feel well with blood pressure medication. They were able to lower their blood pressure like you did. Those are very good choices to make because there are so many other benefits to those foods too. To your health!

  6. Thank you for this informative article.
I didn’t know that Ginger help releases endorphins – but now that I think of it I can understand why I love ginger so much! I put it almost in everything I cook and drink.
It is great for nausea and morning sickness too!
Simply put it is a superstar in my opinion.
As for the various vitamins you spoke of, I did not know that there were numbers to it! K2? D3? That is interesting!
Thank you for sharing all of this.

    • Hello Orion! Supplements and the forms they come in have improved a lot over the past few years. It takes a little study to keep up. Ginger is so versatile as a food – whether it’s dinner or dessert, or a daily health tonic, it truly serves us well!

  7. Hi Dianne, excellent article. What a funny word “Cupuaçu” for a healthy product! I couldn’t help but chuckle at the pronunciation. I will definitely look into this more and try to add these natural food supplements to our family’s diet. Thank you for sharing.

    • Hi Tara. You’re welcome! Yes, cupuacu is a funny word…it has a few other names too, all similar. Obviously I’m pretty impressed with the way Dr. Sears comes up with formulas that are palatable and affordable for families.Best wishes to you and your family!
